We all know, making a game is pretty hard!
It makes a lot of fun to create his own thinkings!
But even then you have to fight against bugs…

As perfect this game is, you will always find a new bug/glitch!
Please report it to me, so it can be fixed as soon as possible!

    Hello, SKJmin !
    I can’t enter in level 3-C : screen turns black and the Nintendo DS stalls. I reboot the machine and try to enter again the castle level (3-C), but… again the same trouble: I can’t enter and the machine stalls, so I cannot go on :(
    And the same trouble in level 3-A.
    I’m playing with a M3 flashcard, so I don’t know if the problem could be that.
    What can I do? I’m desperated and I want to continue playing :(

    Here’s another glitch that I’m unsure of while trying to find the last Star Coin in level 7-3. When I go back down the pipe again in the last room (before going out into the sky), the screen doesn’t move at all, Mario backtracks a bit on the overhead map, and then he dies. I’ve been doing my damnest in trying to find the remaining Star Coincs without relying on your help for the last three worlds. I’m still missing 23 of them.

    Here’s a few things I’ve noticed while playing version 2.5a:

    In level 3-A, in the first koopa shell room, you can find yourself on the ceiling if you jump onto the bouncing block, and it passes through the wall, allowing you to skip going through that little maze. You can even jump over to the Starman course if you jump far enough. At the time, I thought the missing Star coin was related to either of these glitches (that, or getting an item from the box that I missed). There were also a bunch of invisible blocks around the Mega Mario course in the area of the smashable blocks / pipes, and I thought that smashing all of those would open the way to a hidden passage. (I spent a lot of time trying to find a smashable pipe that would lead somewhere)

    Another minor glitch is that when you intentionally fall down the “Then DIe!” wrong holes in World 7-A, the screen will slightly move to the left/right, showing the missing floors in either direction.

      Wow, nice findingd :)
      The 7-A thingy, I reall forgot to fix that damn… it was a nknon issue! The camera fix can ve very weird in some levels!
      The 3-A thingy with the bouncing block… I never realized that… fixed :)
      The starman course lies right of it so you can jump through that hint to the passasge^^

      And the MEGA MARIO course… I made it extra…
      Why? Let’s say that someone smashes just the blocks in the beginning and the MEGA MARIO time runs out, and he s not be able to smash all others :)
      The invisible blovks should help him out :)

      PS: Once you destroy all invisible blocks (somehow through cheating) and run out of the screen, they will be HITTABLE again! Uncountable times :)

      The card doesn’t have enough power to handle some levels :(
      Can you get a cheap r4? It costs $10 and can play the fuill game to 100%!!

    Azur, that bonus room in world 3 castle… here’s a hint… figure out a way to fall faster when the block you’re standing on disappears. (works every time) The directions mean something else…

    a bug in level 2-caste, the Koopas are not behind the bars correctly. again, I tried the jceggbert5′s hack new retro mario bros on http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=12773, elements of the tileset can be interesting (retro block?) .

    Hmm, the glitch is not normal, I will look at it! Thanks!^^

    And the forating fire blocks aren’t changeable, I know the top right coner hits you when you are SUPER/FIRE/TURTLE mario :(

    This is not changeable, it was builed in the original NSMB :(

  10. Hey, here’s another one:
    There is a bug on every block which has a chain of fireballs spinning around it. His upper-right corner hurts you.
    I don’t get why, nor do I know if you can fix it, I’m just pointing it out.

  11. I think that I found a glitch in world 3′s main castle.
    I was playing that level in version 2.5.
    When I got into the bonus room with 4 arrows (right, left, left, right), I moved Mario in those directions while I was still falling and he passed through the right wall.
    I couldn’t get back, but I was lucky I savestated at the beginning of the section.
    Am I missing something, or is this a really a glitch?

    P.S. – If the emulator has something to do with it (I doubt it does, but anyway…), I use DeSmuMe.

    Yeah, it’s not a bug!
    It is just not reachable with normal mario^^

    Try with MINI MARIO :P

    hello, I found an error in level 5-1, you can not bounce on the peaks to reach the pipe of the first piece star.

    Hi SKJmin
    This is not the problem I am having. I have looked in Treeki’s editor (last resort) and on the leftmost room in view 2 for area 2. There is a starman block which I use to go back and run over the spikes to get coin 2. Then back in the starman room there is a warp level in a raised bit of the ceiling and this says it needs Mario to climb up a vine to use it. I think this is the route to the final coin but I can’t get up there. There is no Koopa shell in this area.

    I’m sure you have realized the RED KOOPA SHELL!

    You should use the KOOPA shell to hit the left block!
    The ORIGINAL METROID level has a MISSILE SPOT there! (more an easteregg in an easteregg level^^)

    I think I should start to create walktroughs :)

    I have come across what might be a bug in level 1-A. I have coins 1 and 2 and have almost given up trying to find coin 3. As a last resort I had a look at the level via the cheat editor and have found that there is a warp level high up in a silver coloured room to the left of the level. It is only possible to use it if Mario is climbing a vine but there is no vine to climb. Am I right or have I missed something? I will keep looking for another way to find the coin but I think I need to get at that warp level.
