(i.e. Xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3:_INVALID_INPUT)
Be sure to use the [U]-Version of the game!
And it must be clean, not trimmed or dumped or whatever!
This error means you have used a wrong ROM!!

Having trouble getting the game to run on the emulator DeSmume. The rar file show when I try to open the rom. I select the U………. rom and nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated.
The locations of the star coins will not change, but see the walkthroughs.
There will be a world 9 in 3.0a, but you must collect ALL of the star coins to unlock it.

I’ve been really enjoying playing the New Mario Bros 3 game, even though some levels are nightmarishly hard, and some star coins are almost impossible to find. This is the kind of addictive fun I’ve been wanting to experience again that Nintendo has yet to recapture with their sequels.
And then I found out that after all my hard work, there IS no World 9! That’s an awful teaser to give us there, forcing us to play those nightmarish ABC courses all over again for version 3.0. At least things should be slightly easier next time, by relying on the raccoon tail instead of the tricky timing of the triple jumps again. Another interesting detail you might want to consider that I noticed while trying to find the hidden exits in World 7 – when you’re Mega Mario, you can walk across bottomless pits.
One thing I’ve wondered is if your World 9 would be composed of those ‘lost’ SMB3 levels that were only available via e-cards? It certainly would bring the whole thing full circle.

First of all great game!!
But I have a little problem, i can’t save state anywhere or in any slot.
It’s probably not a game error but each time I try to save state I get an error.
Can you please help me out because without it I can’t finish the game?
